Man I had such a great time this morning, I really only planned on doing the minimum in order to vote for a couple friends of mine who are in the contest, but I got sucked in and spent the whole morning and afternoon visiting studios all over Brooklyn. My neighborhoods anyway , there were over 1800 registered participants in gobrooklynart ! I wish I could have started yesterday and seen even more, I would have loved to have gone to neighborhoods I don't frequent to see art. All in all I have an amazing time, and I hope Brooklyn museum follows this up next year. How it works is you visits a minimum of 5 studios to be eligible to vote you top 3 to have a show at the world renowned Brooklyn Museum . What a dream come true for someone out there! I didn't take shots of artwork but I did take some shots of some of the street art around some of the places I visited. Enjoy I'm definitely going to be drawing my ass off tonight. INSPIRED

Man I've been trying to get head wrapped around my artwork but with work and the kids man it just seems impossible. But with that being said I realize that of I want it then I'm going to have to figure it out!

brooklyn soul

This is a sketch of mycharacter ( yet un-named) I was trying to capture his first kill as a vigilant type.
This character is a very dark one ,he is tormented by a horrible child hood and violent up bringing but is naturally a very caring and good person. He is literally suicidal and seeks the help of a psychiatrist while in costume. He has 2 children that he is kept from which is the only reason he seeks help & hasn't ended his life. His best therapy is taking his anger out on the criminal types that run around his city ( brooklyn) which is his.only other great love.
Well that's enough for now,but stay tuned as I put a story together and remember any criticism good or bad is more than welcome. My main goal is to improve.
